Sortimo’s New Structure follows Globelyst Strategy to Become the UK Market Leader

With the development and market introduction of the new van racking system "Globelyst", Sortimo International Ltd, Salisbury has set the direction for the third generation of in-vehicle equipment. Reinhold Braun, Managing Director of Sortimo International GmbH said, "this is a necessary requirement that will enable us to achieve our goal of becoming the UK market leader within the next three years".

Sortimo UK's business strategy has been modified to incorporate these necessary components. After a period of only six years, as an importer Sortimo International Limited has now become a national producer of in-vehicle racking systems within the UK as well as offering design, supply and fitting services of Globelyst in-vehicle equipment to fleet customers eg AA, Gilbarco, South East Water etc.

Solutions are developed for all specialist client applications and put into practice with our in-house technicians. The long term UK Director Ian Caston has decided that at 60 years of age, he wishes to retire from this field of work. Apart from his involvement with Sortimo International Limited he has also laid down his representative role with the SMMT steering group, 'The CV Racking Association'.

Sortimo's headquarters in Salisbury on an area of nearly 30,000 sq ft comprises of our showroom, stock, warehouse, production and fitting station and offices where we employ an ever-increasing number of personnel. Due to the launch of Sortimo Globelyst strategy, Sortimo's management and personnel is increasing over the coming months to achieve the goal of becoming the UK market leader within the next three years.
