New equipment especially for electricians from Sortimo!

Sortimo, as partner of the automobile industry and market leader in the field of in-vehicle equipment, goes all out to tailor its range of equipment to the different types of material packaging that is specific to the different target groups.

Moisture-proof lamps, fluorescent tubes, cable ducts or rigid conduits for electrical wiring always pose a transport challenge in commercial vehicles. Sortimo now presents new equipment which is tailored exactly to meeting this challenge.

Damaged moisture-proof lamp trays, broken fluorescent lamps or bent tubes – that is unfortunately run of the mill in an electrician's service vehicle. But with the new aluminium tray from Sortimo, these problems become a thing of the past. With a weight of only 4 kg, the 2000-mm long and 300-mm wide tray is designed especially for the transport of these items. It has, for example, space for two secondary packagings of fluorescent tubes and thanks to its optimum width, simultaneously offers form-fitting accommodation during transport. The optional dividers make it easy to adapt the tray to accommodate junction boxes, switchboxes or pressure clips, etc. What is also new is that the already very successful open shelf with rim can be installed at a gradient to make it the optimum stowing place for cables. Standard cables such as NYM, (ST)Y or coaxial cables (especially cutting waste and scrap) thus all find a very secure place during transport in the commercial vehicle.

Fatih Yilmaz, the target group manager at Sortimo, says: "Our aim is to present mobile electricians and electrical engineers with real solutions. Wherever there's a path, somebody has already travelled that path. The time is now ripe to pursue a different route with Sortimo Globelyst in order to further consolidate our position as market leader. The target-group-specific product and marketing strategies will pave the way for our future success!"

This new development constitutes yet another innovation in the ingenious Sortimo Globelyst System, which bases on the extremely stable aluminium frame structure known as "SpaceFrame". The new piece of equipment will be presented at all the upcoming trade fairs: the Eltec in Nuremberg, the Elektrotechnik in Dortmund, the Eltefa in Stuttgart and the efa in Leipzig!
