The new Sortimo roof rack for professionals – lighter and more versatile!

Sortimo will present its new professional roof rack system "TopSystem" for the first time at the IAA. Designed as a modular system, this new "beast of burden" is lightweight, can be adapted to suit every transport need and has a wide range of innovative accessories.

The new Sortimo roof rack goes under the auspicious name "TopSystem", and the number of longitudinal and cross members can be varied at will. Completely modern in design, it raises functionality onto a new level. The special construction of anodised aluminium and stainless steel contributes towards a long service life and a high loading capacity. Its stable and lightweight construction guarantees a high load-bearing capacity at a low dead weight. In comparison to conventional steel roof racks, the loading capacity can be extended many times over. The choice of robust and stable stainless steel guarantees good corrosion resistance.

Developed especially for use in trade and industry, TopSystem offers the ideal solution for transporting all kinds of goods - from rolled carpets, pipes and building materials to ladders and scaffolding. Everything safe and sound and well secured!

New: lashing anchors and quick-ascent ladders

Thanks to an in-house innovation - the patented lashing anchors - the cargo can be lashed individually in any position. This innovation bases on the latest developments in the field of load restraint systems, a field which plays an important role in the corporate philosophy of the in-vehicle equipper Sortimo! The new quick-ascent ladder, secured to the side of the vehicle, facilitates optimum lashing of the cargo.

The following optional accessories are available: a loading roller to facilitate loading and unloading long and heavy items, a column support to limit the cargo laterally, a transport tube to accommodate pipes and tubes, and a fold-down ladder lift to help load heavy ladders. The contact surfaces of the base plate are made of aluminium stud plate and guarantee non-slip navigation of the roof rack system.
