The history of Sortimo started with the development of a toolbox for trades people and technicians: the portable workshop as the first building block in a series of well-conceived developments. To provide on-site customer service, the workshop has long been mobile. In tough competition, an optimally equipped vehicle with all the necessary tools provides a decisive advantage.
In the face of the ever-increasing demands in the international service market, we are a solution and system provider. We help our clients gain a competitive edge in the marketplace. How Sortimo entered the British market - Chronicle of Success
1998
Sortimo International Limited was founded in Old Sarum Park, Unit 5 in Salisbury, Wiltshire and started as an importer of the Sortimo products from Germany.
2004
Sortimo Globelyst was developed – The third generation of in-vehicle equipment combines form, function and customer benefits at the highest level.
2007
A new production facility has been opened and a SAP System was implemented, making the process of order to delivery even more effective and faster for the customer.
2009
Sortimo consolidates into Warrington site, this now allows us to become a Complete Solution provider from Design to Delivery
2002
Sortimo Limited relocated to a new purpose build building, comprising of demonstration facility, warehouse, installation centre.
2006
Expanded Sales Force from 4 to 10 to give national coverage for Sortimo
2008
Opened new Fleet Conversion facility in Warrington Cheshire, this new building is 35,000 sq ft.
In 10 years Sortimo has grown into one of the largested suppliers of Van Racking Solutions in the UK. Sortimo currently have 2 facilities in the UK with over 55,000 sq Ft of warehouse, admin, and installation space. Sortimo now employ over 40 people and are continuing to expand to meet the level of demand for Sortimo Products.
